Today I'm sharing one of my favourite suites from the new catalogue - Rooted in Nature.  I'm not sure if it is because of the leaves or because of the colours in the Designer Series Paper, but I can't get enough of this suite!  I attended an event for demonstrators on Vancouver Island on Saturday and this card was the Make and Take I created.  It was fun to try a new technique - the Pocket Card.

Don't you love the colour combination - Tranquil Tide, Grapefruit Grove and Crumb Cake!

Here's the instructions for the card:

1. Tranquil Tide Cardstock Base (8-1/2" X 11")  Cut in half lengthwise at 4 1/4".  Score both pieces at 5 1/2" 
2. Cut from the score line to the opposite corner on both pieces of cardstock
3. Attach the two pieces together using Tear and Tape adhesive with the flaps to the outside and at the bottom of the card
4. Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and cut in half on the diagonal.  Attach one to each flap on the front of the card
5. Fold over one flap and attach along the bottom using Tear and Tape adhesive.  Then attach the other flap.
6. Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
7. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
8. Punch out a tab using the Circle Tab Punch.  Adhere it to the Crumb Cake card stock.  Make sure it doesn't stick out to far so that you can get the card in an envelope easily.
9. Stamp images on Whisper White paper and adhere to Crumb Cake card stock
10. Wrap a 1" x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper around card and adhere to make belly band.
11. Stamp leaf images and cut out using Big Shot - I stamped all leaves in Crumb Cake on Whisper White and Crumb Cake card stock.
12. Adhere leaves to belly band.  Adhere a leave trinket to the front.  Adhere a small bow to the front.
