Classes By Mail and In Person - Are you interested?

I’m so excited to invite you to join my Class by Mail series starting in September.  Each month the class will feature a new stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue that you can start ordering from on September 1st.

For $45, you’ll receive the stamp set, 4 card Make-n-Take package, and PDF instructions!  The kit will be mailed to you and will include all paper, ribbon, cut and punched out pieces.  You supply the ink and adhesives.

You'll need to register for each month by a specific date and send payment.  I'll mail the kit to you early in the month so that you can get going on your new projects.

Here's a list of the Classes I have scheduled:

Once you've registered, please pay by e-transfer to stampinwithmelva@gmail.com and use the pass phrase "stampkit".

I can't wait for the series to get started!  Interested, just click on any of the links above to register and then you can sit back and wait for your kit to arrive.

Do you live near me and want to attend in person classes?  Well, I'm hosting the same classes in person.  You can find the dates starting in September on my Classes & Event's page.

Do you want to see a sneak peek of the September cards? Well, just a little one.  I don't want to spoil the fun for when you open you kit.

Fancy Fold Birthday Card - 2 ways

I wanted to share with you a birthday card I made over the weekend.  It is one of the cards that we'll be making tonight at my Make and Take Tuesday event.  I originally designed the card using the Happy Birthday Thinlet and then decided that it was a card that could be re-created with the Stylized Birthday stamp set for those people who don't have a Big Shot.

I love how it turned out.

First the card with the Happy Birthday Thinlet.

Here's the cards with the stamped Happy Birthday.  Just as beautiful

Can you case it Friday - Wood Words

Back again with an easy CASE from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  This card is cased from a quick and easy card on page 158 of the catalogue and uses the Wood Words stamp set (Item 143928). What I love about this is that it really is quick and easy with a little bit of stamping and some of the great Copper Trim (one of my favourite items from the catalogue).

First, here's the card I CASE'd.

Now, here's my card.

I'm posting one day early this week as it's a holiday weekend and I'm taking an extra day!  Happy BC Day for those of you in British Columbia!

Here's my next CASE of a card from the Annual Catalogue.  Yep, it's just about identical.  What made it so easy is the use of some lovely wood grained Designer Series Paper, a little bit of stamping and then some trim.  No muss, no fuss when you need a quick card for any occasion!
